Mission Trips (To Be Launched In 2026)
At Divine Aid, we believe in holistic ministry—caring for both the spiritual and physical needs of people. As part of our long-term vision, we are preparing to launch our first medical and dental mission outreach in 2026.
We plan to partner with mission-minded medical and dental teams from the U.S., Canada, Europe, and other Western nations to bring life-saving care to underserved villages across The Gambia.
While these trips have not yet begun, we are currently laying the groundwork and welcoming expressions of interest from potential partners.
Our Proposed Partnership Model
1. Establishing the Partnership
Divine Aid is actively reaching out to Christian medical missions, NGOs, hospitals, and universities that share our passion for serving rural communities. We are seeking like-minded teams who desire to use their skills to meet urgent health needs while sharing the love of Christ.
2. Our Role as the Local Partner
Once launched, Divine Aid will:
Identify villages and communities most in need of care.
Handle local logistics: obtaining permissions, setting up venues, securing transport, accommodations, and translators.
Mobilize the community to ensure outreach success.
Provide spiritual support and follow-up care after the team departs.
3. What International Teams Will Provide
Our Western partners are expected to bring:
Volunteer teams of doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and health workers.
Medical and dental supplies, mobile equipment, and educational materials.
Free consultations, minor surgeries, extractions, immunizations, and health education sessions.
On-site training for local healthcare personnel to ensure long-term impact.
Funding & Support
Mission trips will be supported through:
Donations from churches, individuals, and partner institutions in the West.
In-kind contributions and local coordination from Divine Aid.
Ongoing relationship-building for sustainable, repeatable missions.
Keys to a Successful Mission Partnership
We believe successful partnerships are built on:
Trust, transparency, and open communication.
Clear roles and expectations for each team.
Adherence to local health regulations and customs.
A commitment to both short-term outreach and long-term community health improvement.
Integration of evangelistic outreach where appropriate.
